I'm with you--quilting about 5 yrs, will never get my stash used up.
I'm 72 and NOT OLD!!!! Wasn't interested in quilting until the rotarycutters came out. |
I am 81, and have been quilting since 1988, when I gave up on it, because the woman in the Q-shop cut the material, and I never had enough for the project. It turned me off, until 1993, when I moved up to Wappingers Falls, (N.Y.) and found a really nice Quilting Basket, where the ladies were wonderful with help..and used new cutting methods, so the customers were not cheated... I REALLY started quilting then, joined 2 guilds, and a smaller (7) group, and absolutely love it... I also knit, crochet, smock, tat, counted cross stitch, but don't care for crewel work... Thanks for listening... Diana O.

I am going to be 82 the 30th of May. I am proud of my age and plan to quilt until I am 90. Now I am getting ready to move but I make about 8 quilts a year. Am I too old???I give them all away to family. |
