I'm 70 but started quilting in my mid 30s. My DGS - 21 - likes to sew and made a "quilted" toy for his dog. Count him in, too.

I will be 57 next month. But I don't consider that old. Also what is wrong with hanging out with "older women"? I have learned so much from this board and from women who have been quilting for years.

75 next month. Maybe the oldest on the board? Didn't read thru them all. Been sewing and quilting most of my life, so started out "young"

Another 49 year old. started sewing at about 12-learned to sew a straight stitch by my godmother-picked everything else by myself. went to a summer course at about 13 for crotcheting-started quilting 2 years ago-no one in my family is a crafter-maybe i'm the milkman's daughter?
