Thanks for the link Holice .... and it was nice to "meet" you. I sure learned a lot about binding tips and tricks from your video. ITA that too often a great quilt is destroyed via a poor binding job! I haven't checked the full listing ... do you have other videos on that site? |
I'll add ... the best was how to do the bias join at the end!! I'll confess I always have gone with a straight join, which isn't just quite so nice for the results and now can't wait to do some binding with your method. While I like my tools/toys, ITA with your earlier comment that a tool is not necessary when doing your bindings ...... just march my "soldiers" into action!! :)

I bought The Binding Tool out of sheer desperation. It took me awhile to get the hang of it and each time I have to rewatch the video but now my bindings turn out pretty good. Initially, I had problems with too much left over after I made the second cut but now I've got it down. I love it and I've suggested it to several people.
