There is nothing like coming to read the Board and:
chuckling at the latest joke from Ditter;
ooohhhing and aaaahhhhing the pics of someone's latest quilting endeavor;
learning a new hint or tip;
sharing an opinion or comment;
helping a newbie or an experienced quilter;
copying a new recipe;
find a link to a new fabric shop, pattern or sale;
buying someone's castoff's;
trading for a new treasure;
searching for that fabric or pattern you need (or not)
swapping words of wisdom; and
making new friends on-line.

I love this board for all the above mentioned amenities. This has been the kindest, friendliest, funniest, sharingest, affable and amiable board ever. Glad I found it, happy I found you.

Yes...all of the above...but very time consuming...I've been here an hour now, should be out in the garden and then ironing and then quilting.....This board is definitely a distraction (and a very good one!)

I've always felt welcome here. I like the fact that we get positive comments on our quilts no matter if we're a beginner or a more experienced quilter. I find that especially encouraging.

I just can't seem to get enough!

My-I couldn't have said it better! Just how I feel! I only wish I could tear myself away to get something done-like quilting!! I wish I had the will-power to limit myself to time spent here! But then, I feel like I have great buddies to chat with that understand my quilting passion (which I don't have at home-and being fairly new here where I live, I don't know anyone).

Ditto all of the above this board is my new friend, hobby, family, entertainment and learning centre. I used to play games on my pc now all i seem to use it for is to read this board (for hours on end). :P :-)

I've fallen in love with every aspect of this board. First one I've belonged to since the very early 90's - Genie Online Quilters. Don't even know if it is still around. Sometimes we just have to be reminded of the good stuff and let everything else go.
