Sewing something only to realize the fabric was folded underneath and caught in the sewed seam. Rip, rip! :(

ME, too! It's what I do best. Except when I slip and cut the fabric...now that is my true pet peeve!

The INCREDIBLE mess that lady who sews at my house makes....(LOL) and I'm the one who has to clean up after her!!!

DH doesn't seem to mind, though.

When someone goes into my sewing room and takes my good scissors! This just happened to me and they are now useless for fabric. GRRRRRRR!

I have to go tracking down my borrowed items when I need them. I go to a lot of classes and workshops and this seems to be a very common thing.

OOOOHHH>>>I love this one.....boy that is this irritating!

Just came up with another one!

This evening I was cutting out block 4 of a BOM using templates and got ready to sew only to discover that I was supposed to have cut a 2" strip and 4 triangles out of one fabric, but I had cut 8 triangles. I guess I was looking at the directions for another fabric. Now I don't have enough fabric to cut the 2" strip. Boo! Back to the LQS for another piece of fabric for one lousy 2" by 11" strip!

everything i do wrong, again......again.......again..........and again..........
and the cat lying down on the ironing board when the iron is on. scares me senseless. if i try to move him he struggles and the iron goes over==someone gets burned. if i try to scare him off, the iron gets knocked over and i still get burned. i have figured out, the cat knows the iron is hot. and he stays just far enough away so as not to get burned. it still makes me nervous but it is actually safer if i don't react.

When I've carefully placed the ruler and am just about to cut and BUMP! I jiggle it somehow and have to start all over again.

Same with threading the machine needle - hard enough, but when I finally get it through and then move my hand - and pull it out again.

reverse sewing tops the list for me. I have experience after reverse sewing and redoing 182 hst squares that I sewed the wrong sides together. No I wasn't drinking just blind that day. lol.
