Applications (I think) there are different apps you can put onto your cell phones. From games, to where to find the cheapest gas, to who knows what all is out there. I have found several for quilting and fabrics, most cost money to download, some are free.

There are a lot of apps for quilting. The best one is The Block Tool. The rest are very beginner types or lousy. Don't buy them. I also have Robert Kaufman's app. It's great. Those or the only two quilt apps I use. I'm waiting for EQ to have an app! The McCall's is new and it looks fun.

Are these only for iphone? I haven't found any for my BBerry.

Do a search in the app store for quilts and they will list them all, free and paid and then you can see what appeals to you. I have several free ones.

I think these are great ideas, but I just cannot make myself pay that much money each month for a phone. I always think how much fabric I can buy with $150+, but I am glad that you are enjoying yours. Have lots of fun.

you have a point, and sometimes I think about how much we spend monthly for our phones (not quite $150, but still more than we used to). But once you have a PC in your pocket it is SO handy.
