$150 a month???

The only reason we upgraded our ancient phones was my DH needed one that has all the bells and whistles for his new job. Mine doesn't have as many bells and whistles as him. His has a flashlight!!!!

I have the Robert Kaufman QuiltCalc that was free... pretty handy for getting fabric measurements. I just bit the bullet and added the FabricStash for 4.99, and I am cataloging all my fabric with it... (after I bought a yard of the same fabric I already owned). Very handy so far!

I have a new blackberry curve 9300 and I still haven't gotten on the web to browse. I've had it almost 3 weeks now. I love being able to text and love the phone, but I didn't really need the web on the phone even though I have to have it. Yea I am interested in free aps too. I will keep watching.

I think us Blackberry people are left out in the storm ;) - for a while it looked like Blackberries would take over the world, but iPhone apps outnumber BB apps by thousands to one, now.
I got an offer from the Verizon store to go to 4G service today and I'm thinking that since you can now get iPhones for Verizon, I might take them up on it. I love my darn toys - and being able to look things up on the internet while I'm out shopping is just too cool. (like where's the nearest Starbuck's or shoe store or whatever - love that!) |
I have the Verizon iPhone... LOVE it :-)

Do you have any quilting apps installed on it? There are so many!
I wonder if EQ is going to come out with some apps? Shopping/yardage calculation would be the help most appreciated by me. I can store stuff on my blackberry in notepad files, but an app that can keep track of the yardage required for all the quilts you're planning would be so fine when you're in the fabric store! How many times do you get home and say, "Darn, it wasn't LIGHT green I needed for this one, it was DARK!" Is there anything like that available for iPhone? |
I use Stitcher's Helper on my Droid X. I think it's only .99 and has a lot of good features.
To include being able to create a shopping list, a lot of calculators, add photos and I can't remember what else. For $.99 you can't hardly go wrong. |

And I really like the JoAnn's ap, too. |
