Same goes for me. I'm in the garden in the cool mornings then I sit at the sewing machine until I have to start supper.

My solution to the 'too hot' time of year is to move up north.... Michigan's UP in the summer and downstate in the winter. It's never too hot that way. And, I take stuff for projects up north and then bring it all back down in the winter. If I finish my projects and need more stuff that's a problem. But I do get things done.

I'm the same. Spring and summer are for the garden and enjoying the beach. I really hate cold weather, so I spend hours in the studio starting about now. By March I am ready to go outside again.

My quilt friends I have started our Count down till P I F Q. We've gone for many years. We were distressed to hear rumors that because of the new Levi Stadium and parking issues that this was going to be the last year. I contacted the company that runs PIFQ and they assured me that the Festival will continue for many years. The opening day on Thursday was just too crowded last year so we are going on Friday.

Living in Utah we have a quilting season for sure! I love the seasons and can't wait for the first snow storm to hit so I can bring out the quilts!

I quilt year around. I lost my husband last year so it is just me and quilting helps me pass the time.

I quilt/sew everyday. Didn't realize there was a SEASON for it.

Me too! I have a large garden and love spending time with plants during the summer months. However, I do put a top or two together in the cooler evenings during the summer months, so I'm ready to quilt once the cooler weather arrives.

I am always outside when the weather is nice, then in the Fall there is always a lot to do wrapping up the garden and house for winter..but when the first logs go into the fireplace...I quilt!!! I do cut my projects in the summer if I have a rainy spell and I'm itching to quilt...I just cut a top and put it in a baggie so when the weather turns I can go!!

I, too, have just finished picking the last of my garden crops (with the exception of a few beets and carrots). I just roasted the last of my tomatoes and put them in the freezer today.

Switching gears from outdoors to indoors just in the knick of time. It was 45 degrees this morning, what better weather to start a quilting project.
