I have given up on subscriptions, but buy the occasional magazine. There are too many advertisements and long winded articles I subscribe to The Quilt Show and QNN and there are some excellent tutorials on the worldwideweb.

I also like American Patchwork and Quilting. I have tried others but I always rely on APQ.

I have tried magazines online but I really prefer printed magazines.

Sometimes at our guild meetings there are bundles of quilting magazines - older ones (mid 80s to mid 2000s) but they are 5 for $1.00. That is a bargin I can't resist.

My absolute favorite is Quilter's World

http://www.quiltersworld.com

and you can get a digital subscription. I always find several patterns I like, and when you subscribe, you get access to ALL of their previous magazines as well.
