if you have trouble with your foot peddel walking away from you, turn it around backwards, it stays in place.

You know those plastic rubber tipped cuticle pushers you use on your nails... Well they work really well when every once in a while you need to press your seams OPEN instead of useing your finger, because sometimes that finger can get in the way of the iron and OUCH!

You take apart the pincher clothes pin and use it for a pressor also.

Not really a sewing tip, but great for lots of things, especially when traveling to retreats. Line your trunk and back seat with that puffy non-skid shelf liner. NOTHING MOVES!!! its great under your pressure foot too. I have a homemade ironing board, that I sit on one of those folding tables, works great under there too!

Here's something I just thought of after reading another thread where a quilter is looking for some fabric to finish her project and she's had the fabric a long time.

I'm going to cut enough selvage off any new fabric I get with enough of the pattern of the fabric to show and will store it in a notebook. That way, if I run out, I'll know exactly what company and what fabric design to look for!!!!

When your hand soap is too small and thin to use as soap it is a great marking tool on darker fabrics. No worry that it won't wash out either
