Yay on the recovery...you will be home sooner than you think, and can get your fix in!
|
Best wished to both of you, your heading the right direction and you'll be home soon.
Maybe some handwork as others have suggested or if you can get some graph paper, begin designing your next project. Maybe even get to the store for a break and pick up some of the fabric for it. Remember to take care of yourself too. I know it's not the same as sewing, maybe it will help. |

Thanks for the offer, and many thanks for the prayers! |
Whenever I go out of town with my husband for I meeting, I always take my sewing machine and at least one quilt-I pieced an entire king sized Lone Star quilt in a weekend.-Oh, and I watch tv at the same time,

Here's to your DH's speedy recovery! I agree, try some hand sewing just to give you something to do.

Prayers for your husband's speedy recovery. Glad he's doing well. Hang in there you'll be home soon and quilting again.

I have a little girl that spends alot of time in the hospital unfortunately. but I bring a cathedral window quilt to work on. It is all hand pieced and I can carry it in a little bag with me. I have even brought my iron and cutting supplies to the hospital. Everyone there seems to enjoy watching the progress. Maybe you can pop over to the store and get some supplies and start your own quilt. good luck to you and yours
