if you like it, that's what matters.
My "decor" in the house is early attic, late basement. Most of the stuff we have has been thrifted, garage saled, given, purchased on the cheap or made. To heck with "rules" |
I hope if there is a rule I believe most of us would probably not be in the winning column. I believe if I like it then it going to be used in my home.

Life is too short to colour co-ordinate everything. heck, clashing colours work too. Your SIL is lady lacking in tact and taste! LOL

i am always looking to brighten up my house i get depressed if it is monocromatic i have a lot of green annd splashes of red

I don't have that problem.....anything goes with "early attic" and "late basement" (LOL).

When I was paper piecing a gorgeous green and blue bed scarf for my bed, a friend reminded me that I did not have any of those colors in my bedroom. I told her I would have them, as soon as I finished the bed scarf!

Make what you want, in the colors that make you happiest, and don't worry whether it matches anything. |
