I had a blast making them. Makes me feel good to know that I am doing something good for someone and especially for kids. When I get these sent in, I am going to order one more. I dont want to get overwhelmed and that is why I am only doing one at a time. I do have a question for anyone. Do we HAVE to make a quilt for each kit they send us? In other words is it One of theirs and one of mine each time? |
Two tops done--now to practice FMQ on some table runners for us, so it won't matter when I mess up :>)!

I have done 4. Don't like having to pay to send them. I prefer to make quilts for my local organization.

I did 11 last year but haven't done any this year. Got involved in cancer coverlets

I have made 2 of theirs, and sent 2 of mine. I enjoy it a lot.

I am doing this and loving it. I have sent to to the main place on the east coast, and am now doing quilts for our area chapter. It feels good and I know that they are needed.

I dont think I will do any more for them--too expensive to send them out------

Purplefiend,
Do you do Quilts for Kids in Round Rock with Marie and Claudia? I didn't get to go to the meeting this week because I just started a new job this week. I'm hoping to make atleast 2 this weekend, one to give away and the other for QFK. Hope everyone has a good weekend/Easter!!! Monique |
Sent one in - have 5-6 stacked up ready for me to do some more practice quilting so that I can send those in.

Does anyone know why there isn't a chapter in New York?I would really like to do this.
