How awful!!! There was a show in a nearby area in which two quilts that went missing during the "take down" time after the show. Fortunately they magically surfaced when a "no questions asked" reward was offered. I don't want to judge, but it sure seems strange that no one found these quilts for almost 3 weeks, but within 18 hours of the reward notification, they appeared. I'm glad they did, and I sure hope these are found.

How sad that they are missing. I sure hope they are found soon! Heartbreaking for the quilters who made them!!! :( :( :(
|
3 words for who ever has these quilts karma, karma, karma!!
|
I also hope they are just misplaced and had not been stolen. I remember talking to a LQS owner who said a customer was slipping batiks off the bolt and putting them insdie her coat. She was stealing entire bolts!!!!

Oh gosh, how sad. Sure hope they turn up

I hope these beautiful quilts show up. I'm sure C&T has not left one stone unturned in the search.
I don't buy black garbage bags! But I can't imagine why anyone would put a quilt or anything else in a white or black trash bag if it wasn't meant for the trash. You can buy huge paper gift bags in all sizes, even for king size quilts and the bags are much prettier. |
This makes me so mad! We work so hard on creating these quilts for someone to just take them!
|
Hope they can find them, it's quite awful for something like this to happen

Someone else lost their prizewinning quilt from the Salt Lake show a couple of years ago. Seems like Salt Lake has a problem.
|
That's just so awful. I can't imagine how both the quiltmakers and the people in charge of the show must feel.
