I hear you, Glenda Tex!! I have the same machine as you and continue to have the same problem. For me, a mouse pad made no difference whatsoever. I bought one of those plastic foot pedal holders ( like a chair pad) but the pedal was too wide. I even hollowed out the sides a little to try to make it fit. Now it fits but the foot won't depress all the way. What a flippin' pain. I guess I'll try the velcro. I would have bolted the darn thing down to the floor by now if I didn't move the machine to quilt.

If you have carpet, find a couple of pieces of velcro - use the side with the hooks on it -and glue them to the bottom of the foot pedal -the hooks will keep your pedal still.

I use 2 cheapo mouse pads glued together with the "sticky" side out. The pedal stays put on the pad, and the pad stays put on the carpet. I think I paid a dollar a pad...

Salley from the Grace Company shared this tip with me. And it seems to be working. They sell a product called True Grips. First, you stick the little rings on the back of your rulers so they don't slip. Then you take the little dots (these come from the center of the rings) and use them on your templates so they won't slip and lastly you take the outer piece (this looks like swiss cheese now) and you put it on the bottom of your foot control. No waste and works great. Oh, I have carpet in my sewing room.

The picky side of velcro. Stick it to the bottom of the feet pedal.
