Sorry didn't see pic, but it is not ugly, I bet some little girl that loves pink would love it. Donate it to some kids group for sick kids or ones in homes who have nothing. Pretty quilts need good homes even if you don't think its pretty

Well it isn't my taste but finishing it and donating it sounds like a good plan. Looks like a good quilt to practice FMQ .

It looks like a Warm Wishes pattern which is great pattern but the contrast isn't there for these fabrics. I would finish it and use it for an outside quilt. Any quilt always has a use.

I like the fabric and like the quilt but it is not my taste at all. I can see why you hate it. I am working on a quilt that I can't stand but I hope that the lady who will get it will love it. the fabrics all scream her name to me. I would use maybe a minty green like the background of the floral print and then use a thin red/burgandy to match the flowers and then a repeat of the green fabric. this will frame and help tone down the flowers while making them pop. hope this helps and i hope that you get what I am saying.

oh i'd find more floral print but larger and do a border with it.
I have been known to give newly made quilts to charity if i'm not in love with them.

That's a good idea. Tho I think a solid red/rose/pink (whatever that darlest color is) inner border with a floral outer border would be good, too.

Personally, I don't think it's ugly at all. I think it has a rather shabby chic vibe to it & I like it.

Here's an ugly quilt. I LOVED these batiks & thought they'd make a really soft, subtle quilt. They ended up making a pink puddle! And they were spendy so I felt doubly awful! I donated this fugly thing to Quilts For Kids & I hope it didn't make some poor little child even sicker.

I have tried to find something to border it, but I have been dissatisfied with all the fabrics I have auditioned. I strongly suspect that is because I find the fabrics so awful when put together. I know, I picked them out and really thought they would be beautiful together . . . what was I thinking?!?! Was I just blind or does this happen to others, too. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions? I can post a photo of it if necessary. Maybe there's someone out there who will love it, but I can't help but think this will be my first UFO.

Check your local papers. There are benefits for this or that all the time. Susan Koman might like the quilt if your local group does an auction of any type. Or maybe they give away prizes. The pink would certainly be welcome

I LOVE your fabrics!! I agree..a dark border or borders will help tone down the business..I personally would like burgandy and dark green borders. This is not ugly at all..just needs to be tied together and finished!! Nice work
