So Cute! Adorable blocks! I like the red better. (unless you want the calmness of the blue like Tiggersmom said).

Cute socks, too.

blue is better for me

OK, I vote neither. What about a light green? or a light yellow? They would still be gender neutral and go with the theme of the quilt. I think the red and blue overpower the cute squares.

I love the red. Your quilt top is just adorable. I like to applique but I'm not real good at the sewing part of it yet but I'll get there. Lots of practice

I'm with you, quilter2theend. Another option is a print with green, blue, and brown.

I like the red best, which surprises me, 'cause I'm partial to blue usually. I think the blue makes it too monochromatic, the red makes the blue in your blocks pop out.

I vote for blue. And I don't know if I would have the patience for all that appliqué!

I really like the blue.

I always have to vote red! Do you have a neutral fabric like a grey or cream, like your carpet? Yes, I love your socks too!

Blue - it compliments your blocks better and shows them off better.
