My son's favorite color has always been red. he's almost 13 now and his #1 choice for anything in color is red. Right now I'm in th eplanning stage of him a quilt, I think I'm going with dragons which he also loves. I may do his quilt as a Japanese folded quilt. I like the way that looks. We shall see....still in the planning stage.

I love making kids quilts in bright colors. As others have said, red would go great with most of the Thomas the Tank panels and fabric I've seen.
