I use the smallest OLFA mat for squaring up pieces and just turn the mat.
|
I like mine, but be sure to get it on sale and, hopefully, a coupon too!
|
I have the larger size and use it a lot for certain blocks. So much easier than having to turn the big mat or moving from side to side. I use it a lot for pinwheels and HQT's. Got mine at Joann's with a 50% coupon.

I took an old lazy susan and an old cutting mat and made my own! I cut the mat to the size of the lazy susan and hot glued it to the top. Works great cost nothing!!
|
PS the lazy susan was square topped! LOL

I have both sizes and use them all the time as well. I COULD get along without them, but I would hate to. They make my life easier.
I agree. I love and use both of mine. |
Definitely worth the money. I use mine with small blocks and with paper pieced blocks. Don't have to move the block just turn the mat.
