Sounds delightful!

I will be going to some of those same places tomorrow. Only about 40 minutes from where I live. If you can, try to go on a Saturday sometime and visit the Windmill. Crafts, produce, Amish baked goods and furniture and just about everything else you can imagine. It would make for another fun day.

Sounds like you had such fun! Must be something in the air. My friend came in from Houston, and we hit 4 quilts shops, a Joann's and a Hancock's. 6 hours, 150 miles, and almost circled the Twin Cities! Will definitely return to a couple of them. Loved the one on the opposite end of town!! Bought a ruler, some patterns, and some great fabric!

What a wonderful adventure! I joined a couple of friends and we did some shop hopping during Row by Row. We had a grand time and went to some familiar shops and also some new ones. I love how each shop has its own personality and I find things there that I can't find anywhere else.
For those of you who haven't spent a day like this I heartily recommend it. You don't even have to buy anything to have a lot of fun. |
You were in my back yard! The Mennonite shops are basic, but you can't beat their prices, whether it's for fabric or for produce. Glad you had a fun day.

LeRoy at Penn Yan Sewing told us it was OK to copy and share the map he gave us, so I made a .pdf of it
Weaver View Farms is new and does not have a huge inventory. And you have to go upstairs in the barn to see the quilts. |
Sounds like a wonderful day

It doesn't get much better than a day shared with friends, fabric, food and foliage. What a great day you spent.

My quilting friends have also suggested this trip. And your description makes it all so much more inviting.
