Fiskars but that's based more on habit than any real research.

olfa and fiskars is what i use never seen the other one

I use fiskars and have for years....this is what I learned with in the quilt shop. I have nearly worn out my first one and bought another and put it away til I need it. Wish our Harbour Frieght carried the rotary blades....maybe I can order them on line? If the postage isn't prohibitive/

A number of us tried one that a friend bought at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt show a few years ago. It certainly can't be used 'intuitively'. If one spent hours cutting, it might be worth being 'trained' to use it properly, but for the casual quilter, any rotary cutter that you can pick up and use safely & effectively seems a better choice.

I have the same Olfa (plus several regular Olfas) and it is the most comfortable for me.

I first bought the Martelli rotary cutter years ago at a quilt show and it's all I use.

I have just about every brand out there except Gingher......really like the Martelli but since I cut with both right and left hand makes it kinda aggravating to change cutters each time.....but I do use them and like them alot, I also like the Olfa and Fiskars I have, so not partial to any one brand.

I bought the Martinelle at the quilt show. Mat, ruler and cutter for $200 and the first time I used the cutter it broke. Ugh-had to pay postage and sent it back. They replaced it but I rearly use it. Just don't like it. I like my Olfa.

I like the Kai. The blade automatically closes when one stops cutting - therefore it is a bit safer than those that have to be manually switched from each position. The blade is engaged with pressure and closes when pressure is released. The blades stay sharp for a long time as well.

The Martelli rotary cutter is the best. It is easy on your wrist and hand. It lasts longer then the others. The blade stays sharp longer. Easier to remove blade when needed
