Those are both great! I also would like to know what the pattern name is. Is it paper piecing?
Those are lovely. What's the diameter? I have a round coffeetable I've been eyeballing lately. It could use one of these toppers. Where did you find the patterns? thanks
They are gorgeous! No, I haven't made any round quilts...what a nice idea for your table.

Just looked up Cheryl Phillips and yes they are interesting.
But I draft my own quilts. |
I made a round baby quilt for a great-grandson for a round crib my husband made for him.

Those are beautiful! They could be in a chapel in Europe, I think.

I haven't named the pattern as yet.
I am still at the design stage. Each one is different. |
Yes, it is paper piecing - 16 segments (22.5 degrees) and the radius of your table.

I've never seen one but they sure are beautiful. Sue

I found a great free pattern but haven't made it yet, I can't decide whether to use batiks or asian prints, either would look great with the pattern I found.
Could you share where you found your pattern?
Your work is stunning. Yay! for finding a solution to your scratched table.
I love the one with the flying geese border!
looks really great
I have made one for ReNae Merrill's book but finished it as a square mandala. It's my avatar.
Beautiful! I've had a book and ruler for quite some time but am too wimpy to try it.
Too cool. I made one a couple of years ago and gave it to my Step-Mom...she uses it on the back of her recliner.
Those are wonderful
You did a beautiful job on them. Do you have a pattern name or did you design these yourself?
What a great idea, and beautiful.
If only I had enough table space to put one of those beauties on. They will truly enhance your home.
There is a pattern called Dream Catcher, which octagonal. Pieced but I have not as yet quilted. Yours are very beautiful.
