I can remember drawing lines like this directly on the fabric and stitching. Thanks NanaCsews2 for the free printout. Saves time and money can't beat that. :-)

Any one tried the ruler revolution rulers? They seem pricey so I want to ask for info before I invest. I am interested in the snow ball ones for starters.

Here's the link on them - https://rulerrevolution.com/producs.html

Let me know if you have tried them.

Thanks,

Linda

They are a bit pricey,But as far as I am concerned I can manage just fine without them.We use can use other rulers and get the same results like we alaready have been doing.

Never heard of them I tried to see them on U-Tube but the link on the RR site did not work.

Personally they look a lot more trouble than they are worth. I am not really sure that they would be worth the extra cost or aggrivation that they may cause. I have some really good ways to get flying geese and it seems to work every time as long as you get the right measurement to begin with. So am not really sure that I would get these rulers.

Interesting little site. The the directions for making snowballs is so simple and easy. Who needs a ruler? Thanks for the quick info on snowballs. This year quilted ones will be the only ones in site here in my little corner of Michigan. Tee- Hee!

Is your dog a Michigan fan or is he going to chew up Michigan in deference to ND, IU or....... Fun photo for your avitar!

Unfortunately, when I was first quilting I brought a lot of tools that I later realized, I really didn't need. I tend to be very wary of buying any more for the time being. But then I have 3 quilts that are finished and just need quilting so they will be my projects for the coming year.

After reading all the info about them I know they will be a big help to some of my guild members and to me too. I don't let sticker shock have me dismissing a product without finding out the value it has to offer.

If you click on the You tube video and type in Ruler Revolution, you will get demonstrations of her products. As with most specialty rulers, unless it is something you are going to make a lot of, it may not be worth the money to you. I'm happy doing snowballs with plain cheater corners, but you would get very precise snowballs using her ruler.

I've looked at these, they DO seem kinda of pricey, and they're just not what I need. do a YouTube search for "ruler of the month" and check out their how-to-use videos for several quilting rulers. Not only do you find out how the darn things work, but seeing how they work helps you decide if you want/need them or not.
