Yep, me too. Especially if I am using bias, I find if I don't pin it first it is more apt to get stretched in places when it is rolled out.

Great idea, but like Jan indicated, what about the chokehold or losing it under the quilt! Going to try it next binding time. Thanks for sharing.

I roll my binding and stick a pencil in the center, then put the pencil in a coffee mug. The rolled binding sits on top of the mug. It unrolls easily as you go and keeps it contained and handy.
