Now you’ve done it! :? Jan in VA I used to be so careful with winding binding but found that I spent more time unwinding it while sewing it on...now I just let it drape over the edge of the cabinet (yeah, I got a Koala, thanks DH) and have no problem. If I'm doing a really large quilt, I might just use a lined basketr to hold the fan folded binding under my sewing area. |
Great tip. Thanks will have to try it.

I like the idea of putting a pencil or dowel through the roll and setting it on top of an empty coffee can under the machine. (My sewing machine extension table doesn't have legs.) Thanks to the one who posted that.

Can anyone tell me where to buy a walking foot? . . . . My other machine is a Featherweight, which I also love. If anyone can tell me where to start looking for a walking foot, it would be great. |
Thanks for sharing txstitcher. I'll be putting on binding in the near future and will certainly give this a try.

Jan,
I have a Koala cabinet too. If I let the binding hang off the edge of the cabinet, one of my 4 dogs would think it was something to grab and run away with. EEEEEK!!!!!!!!!!! Sharon W. http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/...45965719kFeKjn |
What a neat idea. Thanks for sharing.
