thanks for the morning Giggle....on my way to a retreat tomorrow, will be fun to see how often the seam rippers come out, how often somebody is sewing on credit(no bobbin), etc..

#2 and #3 I can go a long way and not notice I am not sewing because I am concentrating so hard on keeping the seam a perfect 1/4"...duh...Naomi... :oops: :oops: :oops:

regarding #3 - if you use a leader/ender, that never happens. LOL (I always use a leader./ender and have made several quilts from the pieces sewn tog)

Follow pattern directions in the correct order, not step 6 before step 2. Yep done that, but only once learned my lesson on that one.

I sew on and off a small scrap or I would have the same problem. It also helps you beginning and ending stitches look better.

I hear you there. Someone here on the board suggested putting a small piece of velcro on the side of the machine to dock the thread in so it doesn't slip out. Great piece of advise.
