This is one very true statement!! It is my plan for the day!! Time for me to destress! Thoughts are with you!

Great therapy. Fewer calories than emotional eating and cheaper than shopping!

Prayers for you and your family ...

Even when my machines are being tempermental, I love sewing! All kinds of sewing!! Problems with my machines are usually soemthing I can fix...not so much with other things going on in my life...

Praying that things will be better for you. I have used the sewing machine for therapy for many years now. Lately I have not even been wanting to do it at all.

It's sewing and knitting for me. And if I can lose myself in a good book that helps too. Take care.

this is what keeps me sane sometimes, you can just escape and get a little peace and comfort

I will put you and your family on my daily prayer list. I run a busy psychiatric unit; chaos is usually the rule of the day. It helps so much to come home to my machine, Phoebe, and all my fabric. I put all the frustrations and disappointments into piecing and stitching, turning out gifts for friends and family. Keep stitching!

Prayers for your family. I ask God to wrap you all in His heavenly QUILT of LOVE and protect you. Hang in there God never gives more than we can with stand without His help.

Sewing is my creative outlet and how I stay sane somedays. I can go to the sewing room, close the door and just keep to myself. Some days, I may just sit and look at my stash or maybe take some out and handle it for awhile and imagine what I might do with it. At night when hubby is transfixed by the tube, I can sit and do hand work and not even hear the TV. I think most of us who quilt or have other interests have many reasons for doing so...all of them important.

Same here.....nothing like a good ride on a quiet beach or sewing in my peaceful sewing room
