I made my own jelly rolls out of gray -- this is what I did with them. This picture shows it still needs the scrappy border and centers on the flowers. The quilt is actually finished and waiting for me to quilt it.

Here's one that I'm working on. The pattern is Triangle Confusion, found here: http://doublenickelquilts.com/Triang...on-DNQ-117.htm

I used nine shades of gray, from nearly white to very dark, in place of her "lights", and all kinds of other solid colors in place of her "darks".

I've been collecting up grey fabrics with grid line and boxy type patterns for awhile. My intention is to make a quilt full of skyscrapers. Probably will do it applique but not sure yet, depends on what I end up with for a final pattern.

My daughter just asked me to make a soft gray quilt but she wanted simple 10" squares of various prints. I've been doing a lot of Bonnie Hunter stuff lately so this will be different for me! I was also thinking of using the Accuquilt apple core die for this.

The Union Square Quilt using Daiwabo Taupe fabric

check out this youtube video. I think it would look great in grays.

I started collecting grays for a bargello some time ago. Have not yet done anything with them. Looking forward to seeing what you do with them.

I love the way my Block Buster by Kariepatch Designs turned out. If you have greys with a lot of contrast, this might be an option for you.

There will be a lot of different fabrics but I'm not sure how I would arrange them and have them look good. I would love your help. Thank you...

I have, what I think, is the PERFECT pattern for this.......Blanche Young's "Traditions with a Twist" book has a pattern called Bloomin' 9 Patch.......It alternates 9 patch blocks with solid squares......Colors - from outside to center, are the darkest moving in to lightest in center...For a queen size, you need 10 colors........the 9 patches change as you move toward center....Colors 10 and 9, then 9 and 8, 8 and 7, and so on......so the row The quilt makes up beautifully -= even the the colors chosen in the book to illustrate are a bit garish.......I am doing one now in shades of gray - from dark charcoal to ivory with a light pearl gray print......Good Luck!!
