Found this thread from last year and loved the Christmas quilts. I guess I need to continue working on mine. I had started the Farmer's Wife Quilt in Christmas fabrics

These are 2 of my favorites. Snowmen always make me smile. The Nativity Scene was laser cut black that was fused to the background (not really a pieced quilt)

Your quilts knock me out! I especially like the Nativity scene it is magnificent. Is there a way to get the pieces?
http://www.quiltknit.com/8402-Nativi...es_p_2206.html I think what you do is find a multi-colored background fabric you like, then hot-iron fuse the black applique on top. |
I wasn't a member last Christmas, glad you found the thread, it was great seeing the quilt show. I always had plans of making a Christmas quilt but just never got around to it, this year I completed 2 tops. Now all I have to do is quilt them.

I love Christmas fabric and really enjoyed looking at this thread. I wonder how many of us who saw this last year and said "Got to get busy", actually did it. Not me, maybe this year.
