I like the 1st (beige) one.

QUOTE=quiltin-nannie;5958852]I like the first one....the beige color picks up the beige in the blocks and really makes the stars pop. IMHO the other one is too busy and takes away from your stars.[/QUOTE]
My thoughts as well... |
Option A makes your star just shine, and you can do lots of fancy quilting in it that really will show
|
Ohmygosh! That is breathtakingly beautiful! Both of them are lovely, but I think if I were only doing one, I'd go for the top one. It is more formal; the second one is more playful.

I love Option A. Makes the stars POP.
The colors in your quilt are beautiful! |
Absolutely beautiful! I like the first one also with the beige
|
I like them both but my final answer is 2

If the fabrics are showing up true to color, I like the first one better. That being said, I tend to like more of the calm colors in my quilts. Good luck. You can quilt whatever you chose to quilt on any fabric!

Your star is stunningly beautiful. I think the bubbles are pretty but your quilting will hide in them. You might consider the lighter fabric for the next round and quilt with a darker thread that pulls the color or colors from the star. By so doing you create a continuation of color and give an opportunity to complement the star. Maybe, even a multi-shaded thread in a thirty weight. Could you use the pretty bubble fabric in the binding?
