I used the second example; with the circles on it, several years ago and title the quilt 'Old Mans pajamas'. I am very glad you found that great beige to add at the outer edge rather than the 'OMP'.:D

Just my 'druthers,' but I like the one on the top the best. I think you can do a lot more with the quilting on that one too.

I like the first one better, it doesn't detract from the beautiful work you've done with the rest of the quilt.

A, The bubbles distract from the star - your focal pt.
