That looks like a great idea. Thanks for posting.

Is the Slidelock website the only place to purchase the rulers? They are a
little pricey and I don't know if they will cure my personal cutting tendencies to veer off to one side at the top |
I bought both sizes ..I use them both..I have weakest in my whole left side..Holding the usual rulers or whatever..The hand would usually give before I was finish..from the down pressure..that would let the material move..Now it doesn't take as much pressure using the sliderule..So for anyone with this problem..They do work well

I have the big one which I bought through the Nancy's Notions catalogue. I love it and thinking of getting the small one also.

When I bought mine it was called the Rule Steady.

I have the big one, saving my pennies for the little one. I will say, it is well worth saving up for. Once you try it, you will wonder how you lived without it. Save a little in the sugar dish each month, even a couple of dollars, until you have enough. It is well worth the money and wait!!

Cool idea! I just bought a suction cup handle to use on my rulers from the hardware store. Same effect, keeps fingers out of the line of fire, and no slippery ruler from sticky dots from JAF.

I have both sizes and I love them.

I have both sizes and I love them. I use them all the time, I have the lighted edge ones which work well. Any help with my cutting skills is welcome and these rulers really help.

I have both. They were the only things on my list for Christmas. I love both. I use the big one for cutting long strips and larger pieces of fabric. The smaller one is perfect for cutting smaller things such as squares for piecing.
My arms are increasingly weaker and these are wonderful to help me keep the ruler from moving on me. |
