they are great to use! But ( this may sound silly ) watch your self when moving from slot to slot. Make sure you math is correct and that you cut in the correct slot.I write my slot inches down so I do the math correct. It is easy to get in a hurry and cut in the wrong slot. ( ya I did that a couple of times)

Are they making them out of something that will "stand up" to the rotary blades now? Anyone with a newer one having this issue?

If you hold your rotary cutter straight up and down and not at a slant, you shouldn't have a problem. I also make sure it is directly in front of me. Also you can't rush when putting it in the slot. Take your time and you will save time.

I put a piece of blue painters tape next to the slot I want to use, also do this with my regular rulers to prevent errors in cutting.

WOW!!!!Just watched the June Taylor video on these. Again WOW!!!! I have one but I just used it for cutting fringe on fleece. Going to get rite out and get the other ones. Sure makes cutting strips, squares, and even hexagons a breeze. Be sure and go and watch her videos. Opens up a whole new world for cutting.

I bought mine at WalMart for a good price. Have used it but often have a "wave" because I fold the fabric since mine is the 12" size. Watched the video and read all the postings but still not clear on how to avoid the "wave" Appreciate any suggestions!
