Jesse James has a lot of button, like ladybugs. I have a couple hundred of them Try them.

I think I have also seen them at KMart stores

Hillcreek Designs sells clay buttons but also sells button packs for patterns such as Art to Heart, Wooden Bear and Bunny Hill. They are pricey but cute. Click on the Button tab on the left and it gives you your options.

I needed some small red hearts and small red stars. Found them at JoAnn's.

Hobby Lobby has small buttons...both in fabrics and in the section for paper crafting

Depending on exactly how small, you might try googling doll buttons.

I have been looking for small red cardinals for two yrs. now. Found one in a small bird assortment, but just need cardinals. Any ideas? I have tried all links here and also haunted JoAnnes and Michaels and Hobby Lobby when I get near one, which isn't very often.
