What a great solution. If you weren't using it for a sewing room, you'd probably fill it with your stash anyway!

You are commended for waiting before making a serious decision. I hope you continue to enjoy your sewing centre.

Ah, making lemonade out of lemons. Good for you! It sounds like you have worked everything out to suit your sewing style. I also recently moved and my lemonade is not very tasty yet. Hoping it will get better.

Good for you! It sounds like a very nice place to sew and enjoy your quilting. So sorry to hear about your husband.

Please post a picture as I am going to have to downsize and all the visual ideas would be wonderful.

I like your can-do attitude. I am hoping for a smaller house myself, and will remember your ideas.

I have a friend who did something very similar to your idea and it has worked well for her. Enjoy and create.

Good for you! When I was still working, I used a walk-in closet for my home office. It worked very well and kept my working mess out of sight - just closed the door.

It's great to have a room to yourself for sewing. You are nicer then I am. I would have put several roll a way beds in the small room and made a bedroom my sewing room. LOL

Sounds really nice and you can just shut the door until you want to sew again. Good you waited to make that decision. Have fun. Sue
