At least you found it now and not after it was quilted.

Great attitude, you can smirk when you are done.

Amen, Amen!

I would have done the same thing. "Jack"...LOL.

My husband says that any car he fixes won't run unless he bleeds on it. I guess a quilt isn't any good if you don't have to rip something out.

you found the mistake before it was quilted! I usually only notice these things after its quilted. grrrrr

I love that you call your ripper "Jack". I will start doing that. Makes it seem more friendly with a name - even if it is Jack the ripper.

I hate ripping seams. Not because of the time and troubhle it takes, but even with pressing, the block/blocks never look the same as a fresh seam, done the correct way from the start.

Sd much as I hate it, I still have to do it, from time to time.

I feel your pain, I spent yesterday ripping out 1/2 square triangles (84) that I hadn't sewn the proper seam on, just wasn't using my head. I took a break first also, it helps. Now everything is right including my seams!

I think we have all been there and done that. When I was making a 'Go With the Flow' quilt, my seam ripper was the best friend I had. Ripped so many seams that I got to where I hated the quilt. Kept the faith, never gave up, and now it is one of my best loved quilts. Hang in there.
