I have a wooden slotted ruler rack, but I don't remember where I bought it. It was several years ago. I know it was mail order and it couldn't have been too expensive or I wouldn't have bought it. I just saw it in the most recent Clotilde catalog for about $15 and I'm sure it's available on their website http://www.clotilde.com

It is 4" x 20" x 5/8" high and has 5 slots. It hold all 7 of my rulers and I consider it well worth what I paid. Maybe you can find it at your local fabric store.

If you can find an old 45 record holder at an antique shop, it works well and holds many rulers

This is how I did it until I got my peg board hung. I've tried the wooden and wire racks but it seemed that I just didn't have the surface space for them. They were always in the way. The nail in the wall allows you to use space behind an open door, etc. And....bonus......it's easy.

I have a circle hanger that I don't like now--the only way to get to the ruler you need is to take all the others off first! Looking for better idea.

I did the same thing. I prefer this method because I don't want them to bend. I hang my mat there as well while it is not in use.

I got a peg board and the hooks from Lowe's and
hung it on the wall and all my rulers fit really nice
plus scissors and other accesseries. The cost
was soooooo reasonable too.

I went to Office-Max and purchased a 3 tiered letter rack, I think thats what it is called. It is different heights, smaller in the front and larger in the back. Very visible and quick to get to on my table. Oh yeah, they cost $6.00 each.

I use one or more "command" (peel-off-able) hooks.
The first one is on my fridge and will hold at least another mat and a couple of rulers.

The second on is attached to my "sewing" desk and I used to use it to hang smaller rulers from but now its for scraps and also a small flashlight for seeing into the bobbin area when using black thread!

Those hooks are so useful

All of my rulers have a hole in them, so I just took a hook (like the one you would hang a cup on)straighten it out a little bit and they go right on the hook. I put it right by my sewing machine.

Wow, I have one of those I picked up at a yard sale. I may get it on the wall today :) Thanks for sharing
