Awww, you are all so sweet and kind. :) I have already learned much from reading about everyone's experiences, questions, etc.
I'll post some pics in the picture category. :) |
I'm glad you had a great sewing experience. Quarter inch seam is probably the most important thing you need to master. Once I could do those seams I could make any quilt I wanted.

The day you had --- well, it just warms my heart and makes me smile!
I love the thrill of being a little nervous about starting a new project - then the pride of being able to conquer something I thought would be tough - then the satisfaction of the finished project is just heaven. But the highest-high is gifting that quilt to a loved one who appreciates the effort you put into something just for them! Happy Quilting! :D :D |
I love to see how happy you are. Keep up the good work! You are hooked now too! LOL

I am so glad you had such a great day! Congrats on you first step into the addiction that is quilting! lol Can hardly wait to see your first creation!

It's always nice to feel excited about what you have done. And the learning never stops. There is so much to learn from everyone. CONGRATS on your accomplishment today.

I'm so happy for you. That feeling just keeps going. You get it with the first quilt and keep it alive by making more quilts and then by challenging yourself to make quilts with difficult piecing, applique, etc. And if you ever sense that you're losing it, just make a quilt and take it to a nursing home, hospital, St. Judes, you get it back all over again.
