I made one a while ago, love it.My dh and I saw three old tv trays on the side of the road begged him to stop,he did and now I can make two more and fold them up and put them on the carry thing

I purchased a fold up table from Walmart and put my ironing mat on it and I love not having to get up every time to iron a seam.
My friend came over and saw my set up and immediately went to Walmart and set up the same ironing area and loves it. |
I too, bought a tray at walmart and covered it with cotton batting and fabric to use for ironing near my machine. I did not drill holes in it and it has not warped. I think someone posted pictures last year of one they had made.

I have seen folding pressing tables in quilt magazines that look just like yours but of course they cost$$ Thanks for the idea.

How simple. Why didn't I think of it. So handy and easy to put out of sight. Thanks for sharing.
