Whatever you do, I love what you've done.

I see as I read the other posted answers the same idea is evolveing. Add some more of that georgous blue as a border and use more of the triangles. Your quilt is a beautry. I can just see it big size for you bed. I might even make a runner type to cover a lamp table or a dresser scarf. I do get carried away at timeslol.

Very pretty, awesome work!

very pretty, I too see a second blue border, then zigzags, then a third blue border if needed pending size.

I really like what you have done, especially with the colors in the middle. What size block did you start with? Also what size did you use for the pinks. Our guild is always looking for fun designs to make charity quilts. This is a great design with so many options in the scrappy area. Thanks for posting. JC

I love what you have done and it will look great as a center (like a medallion) on a large quilt. Just keep going the way you started and make each border, etc. larger. Blue border next to set the frame and then more of your pinks, and applique. Finish with blue binding.
If you measure your bed, then you will know where you need the zig zag rows and where to fill in with the applique. Another border finish choice could be a "piano key" or "squares" with all the colors you have used in the zig zags and applique. For what it's worth...just some ideas. I love what you have!! |
Gosh your quilt is really pretty!! Why not add another strip of the floral all the way around and bind it off. It will make a beautiful throw :-D

I'm in a similar situation with a quilt that I "designed" Good luck
