hmmmm....
I'm just trying to use code (in this case, turning "hmmm..." red) in the "Quick Reply" box at the bottom of the page. Maybe code only works in a 'regular' reply vs 'quick'?. I don't know if there is a way to preview a quick reply, so here goes, I'm hitting "Send". :)) Adding edit: It does work if you know the proper code |
Thanks from one who knows only a few symbols Inez

Cool! I have to try that!

Pretty nifty!! Thank you!! |
doesn't work on mine - but then again I am computer challenged.

The fractions are great when typing recipes or pattern directions. ALT+0188=1/4, ALT+0189=1/2, ALT+0190=3/4. I have a list of several others, but rarely use them with my sewing.

Thanks, I knew how to do it on my mac but not on my pc. ¢˚(on the mac you just type alt and $ at the same time for ¢ and alt and k at the same time for ˚. you learn something new every day!
