They are the same as the ASCII codes used in writing html, the old-fashioned way I learned when dinosaurs roamed the earth. They were developed BEFORE laptops, so the keypad was used exclusively to input the codes. |

I just Google "degree symbol" "1/2 symbol" etc.. and then copy/paste it into whatever I'm typing. 8-) |
