I have the slider and really like it. I also use clear vinyl purchased from Wal Mart. The vinyl I can cover more area because of its size. Just cut out the area by the feed dogs and tape it down with clear shipping tape, that keeps the vinyl or the slider from getting in the way of the needle.

Good Luck

Suzy

Thankds for the info. Will have to get one myself. You must tape it down as it is quite slippery on both sides right?

The slider is a tremendous help in reducing drag and jerky stitching. I tape the four corners down with painters tape. If you're going to do much fmq it's worth the investment.

If you get one, get the large one. If you get the small one you will wish you had spent the extra money and got the large one.
