I just got one in a beautiful custom green paint job for less than many standard featherweights.
I also got the most awesome centennial machine from England, complete with box of attachments and top tray, for under $500. I swear, it is one of the most beautiful examples of a Featherweight I have ever seen and is easily a 10 for condition. My 222k also came from England. The price was about half what it would have cost me here and the condition was still pretty good. I still regret not having gone to $1,000 for the one true white, absolutely immaculate machine I have seen, but no way would I go any higher. |

Ridiculous! Stinks of greed

Yep!! They're proud of them apparently.

That is a custom paint job but they are sure proud of their work. This is ridiculous. This type of ad is what is going to destroy the market for Featherweights.

When I bought my first featherweight about 15 years ago I was told they were rare and hard to find, not so! They are everywhere with all kinds of prices. I would pay no more that $400. and it would have to be in mint condition with a good cast. I agree they must think they r made of gold
