Makes me dizzy just looking at it. I have a really neat fabric in a coffee collection that is brown and cream squares (kind of checkerboard) and I thought it would make wonderful backing and binding for my placemats. I could only work on them for a while and had to put them away. I am trying to post a picture--hope it shows up.

Boy, it took me a while but I think the picture came through.

Have you tried wearing sunglasses?

Or, if you usually wear glasses or contacts, don't.

i always cut fabric from the wrong side b/c that's where you're going to see the imperfections the best--if there are any---

from the wrong side--sometimes it matters--sometimes they're less prominent on the front of the fabric

Take a motion sickness pill when working with those fabrics. It will help. Those are pretty fabrics, though.

Yep, I had a simular fabric to make pot holders and towel toppers, I had a hard time putting the binding on. Wouldn't you just know that it was my best seller and they want more.
