These are great, I think it depends on the blocks and settings whether inside PPs or outside would look best. These innies are really charming too.

I did one on a queen size, but only on 2 sides. I made them from one piece of fabric, but used fabrics left over from "frame" around pictures on the quilt.

It took me a while to get the hang of prairie points. I just could not get my head wrapped around the way to do it.I watched Mom do it, She tried talking me through doing them,nothing worked. I finally stayed up late working after everyone was in bed and decided that those points were not gonna get the best of me. It took me 3 hours but I learned. They make great borders once you learn how.I firgured out that I was thinking about the steps of doing them too hard.When I stopped thinking so hard about getting them perfect, I got them right.

I love doing prairie points. I've made several baby quilts like the picture shown and they always turn out nice. I'm looking forward to adding it to patterns that don't call for it in the future, as an added attraction.

I have always made mine go out. I put them on a round tablecloth, On pillow cases. Also made a set big enought for the outer edge of a queen quilt. Had a drawing for them at our quilting group. My GD won them and has never used them. They make an interesting edge for anything. I even saw them on tea towels.

The only time I've used them was on a baby quilt and I had them between the body of the quilt and the border and they were outties.
