I do this but with a magazine. Just find the right on and there you are. Cheap fix.

I use the rubber door stoppers, but sometimes I forget to use them.

I used to use door stops, but they kept moving.
I bought wooden lifts for each of my 2 working machines from Debbie Umphress, a Board member whose husband makes them. The Lifts and the Bendable Lights make machine work much easier |

THank you, I'll look into that.

If I raise that platform to be even with the rest of the cabinet surface, then the machine will be too high? (I am vertically challenged as well, but probably more than all of you).
Will this work? I guess I'll have to try it & then I'll let you know. |

I picked up some info at that booth at the quilt expo. I loved all of her products. I really want one of her chairs. The website is: http://www.sewergo.com
When I took a machine quilting class a couple of years ago the instructor gave each of us an empty fabric bolt holder to prop up the back of our machine. That works really well for my machine with the acrylic extension. |
