I think the black borders give the quilt a great look! Another one outside the gold outer border (inside the wide outer border) would have worked, also.

Those tiny strips may be a pain but boy did they make the quilt outstanding. I wouldn't want to do it often but on the right pattern Wow!!

That is totally beautiful!!! I love doing the skinny borders, I think it makes everything stand out so great. In our guild that is known as a "gnat's --- (butt).

The black really sets off your blocks! You did a beautiful job. :thumbup:
I like the tiny borders, and use them fairly often around the entire quilt. However, I have rarely used them around individual blocks. |
