No, my guild is not full of quilt police...though there are one or two. It is just that my quilts always look so different from the others that are shown. I think you might have used a deeper purple on the small squares.

I have laid these five inch blocks on my design wall, and I like it. I even like how the two fabrics tend to blur together. But now I am wondering if it is too "soft," colorwise. I have been looking at it for a day now, and I am ready to actually sew the blocks together....but I am wondering if I am stalling because it is too soft? So, I should proceed, right?
