You ladies have been so knowledgeable. Coming to a strange community if you stop and ask 10 different people who do not sew about MJ's, you get this blank look and the words "never heard of it!" Now I know right where to go!

I'm going to MJ's next week. Have to be in Charlotte for something else so carved out some time to acquire some fabric! Can't wait!

In the past when i have been there with my DH we were either coming back from a trip or making a trip and had little time to shop. Its 430 miles from Florida but we have our movies, magazines and snacks. We will be there 3 yes THREE whole days to shop this fantastic store and also go to Long Creek Mills for threads. Like a kid in a candy store. My dear hubby asked if I wanted to stop there when we went to our daughter's in VA this summer. Dumb question? He is so good about looking for certain colored material with me. Of course, I could spend all day there, but don't think he would be quite as accommodating about that long. I know you will have fun.

I went by there this morning on my way to Ft. Mill, SC just down the road, staying with my son for a week to spoil by grandbabies. I have a gift certificate I got for my birthday to Mary Jo's so will be headed there one day this week. If I go on Tuesday, would be great to meet some others from the the board. Denise, maybe I will find your group by yelling Marco, lol. I lived in Melbourne, FL for 20 years and Plantation, FL before that.

That would be too funny if you yelled Marco and one of us answered Polo. You know its funny but that system does .work for us when one of us gets lost. We will have laundry carts toting our loot in case your there on Tuesday. Hope to see you Denise

think you could stop by Oklahoma on your way and get me! I used to go there when I lived in South Carolina. Had a good friend in Charlotte and we loved to go there. But that was over 20 years ago - I'm sure it's much better now. Have fun!
